I am also the sole director of a rental property business.

I purchased my first rental property in 2016 and have since built and managed a seven-figure property portfolio. I was able to scale this business using a variety of methods. One of them was the BRR method (Buy, Refurbish, Refinance), using my own income to fund and repeat the process.

Owning and operating a lettings business I have learnt to:

• Effectively carry out full refurbishments on properties.
• Manage multiple trades working on site.
• Budget and create work schedules for both large and small refurbishments.
• Position lenders to suit all types of projects.
• Keep up to date with legislation.
• General management of tenants.
