As a CTM in a Sainsburys Local store, I am fully responsible for leading the team and all aspects of the operation of my store. I coach and lead my team to deliver excellent standards across the store at all times. I am hands-on on the shop floor with my team as and when required, as well as being fully responsible for the back of house operation, ensuring the store trades safely and legally, being fully responsible for food safety as well as cash office and all other aspects of the store. Providing great customer service, either at the front end, via telephone or to online shoppers, is a key part of my role, as is dealing with any customer queries and complaints in a level headed and empathetic manner. I have been solely responsible for numerous areas, including recruitment, labour and cash office at various points, and I provide support to the store manager in all other areas of store operation, as well as assuming full responsibility for the store in the absence of the store manager.

Interests

I am a keen roller coaster enthusiast, which takes me to UK beauty spots such  as Blackpool and Stoke On Trent, as well as more exotic overseas locations including Sweden and Belgium, to experience the best old and new thrills. I co administrate a Facebook group organising meet ups with other like-minded people at various theme parks including Alton Towers and Thorpe Park that has  close to 3,000 members. I'm looking forward to setting a new personal ride  count record on Stealth at Thorpe Park in the current season. I am also an avid  cricket fan, and can often be found giving my enthusiastic support at the Ageas  Bowl or the Somerset County Ground, as well as offering advice to the tv during matches. Whilst my playing days have been limited of late, I do occasionally roll  out the bowling arm, as well as offer my Umpiring services, much to the dismay  of my team-mates
