I am a psychotherapist and counselling psychologist, with a background in midwifery and additional training in EMDR. I work almost exclusively with trauma presentations, both in my NHS setting and private practice. I offer predominantly lower cost slots in my private practice and specialise in a highly relational and attachment-informed psychotherapeutic approach, with a focus on the whole person. In my NHS practice, this often means supporting clients with challenging presentations navigate social and physical healthcare systems as part of their psychological process and treatment. My recent post as co module leader highlighted my enjoyment of teaching and supporting students on their personal and professional journeys towards qualification as psychotherapists.
MSc Humanistic Psychotherapy final module co-leader, supporting students to both understand and deliver their final dissertation.
I worked as a midwife in hospital, community and research settings caring for women, their babies and families.
I am fully trained in EMDR and working to complete my accreditation.
