- As the senior family and systemic psychotherapist in Coastal CAMHS, I have enjoyed working with young people presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties, their families and wider networks
- This role has also included facilitating supervision groups for trainees and colleagues as well as offering clinical supervision to systemic colleagues.
- This role has also included delivering systemic training and workshops
- From August 2025, I will be continuing my role in CAMHS on a bank basis, as I plan to explore employment opportunities outside of the NHS

- I offered both consultation to complex networks and direct systemic work to young people, their carers and families in a specialist CAMHS service which worked with Children we Care for in West Sussex.
- I worked with children and young people who had experienced complex and developmental trauma.
- I also co-facilitated the Therapeutic Parenting group for carers, which was based on the PACE model and work of Dan Hughes.

- This service employed a manualised family therapy approach and I was able to learn and adhere to the manualised approach developed by Eisler et al at the Maudsley.
- It was also important to be able to use by broader systemic skills and knowledge to support families where the manualised approach had not been successful.
- I was very lucky to work as part of a skilled and diverse multi-disciplinary team, and this role included supervising colleagues and trainees.
