I have a developed on critical analysis using psychologically informed approaches and evaluation of integrative practice through self-awareness and application of reflective practice. I have improved understanding of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems. Personal and professional experience has increased my ability to make sense of emotional, physical and psychological distresses with aim to problem-solve. I need help to gain the necessary confidence to apply learnt contemporary theories and for preparation to work as an independent Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I am registered nurse in mental health with a statutory body NMC and recently, I was offered a place to study a BABCP accredited programme of Master of Science in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy at University of Derby commencing September 2025.
