I am applying for the Mental Health Support Worker position because I am passionate about mental health and I believe I am an excellent Mental Health Support Worker. It has been my ambition to work in this area so and I have been doing so since I completed my level 3 in Diploma in Healthcare Support course. This has enabled me to acquire the knowledge, skills and experience needed to be a conscientious, person centred, reflective and effective practitioner. Leading me to be interested in uncovering and discovering mental health, finding the individual way towards recovery.
I do go extra mile to provide the best care for people. I am motivated, enthusiastic and hard working person who always want to learn and practice my developing knowledge, skills and experience. I adapts to new challenges that would help me to develop my knowledge and to acquire new skills. I worked as a Healthcare Assistant in different area of health and social. In January 2025, I joined the mental health crisis team supporting service users who present in crisis to obtain support, reach positive outcomes and safety plan with the support of clinical staff, providing information and signposting as well as receiving and escalating referrals from other professionals, family and carers. This post also includes working with children crisis team.
