I am a compassionate individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with a background in customer service and conflict resolution. I have a proven ability to build trust and provide support in challenging situations. I am dedicated to creating a positive and nurturing environment for young people, fostering their growth and well-being.
I have an academic background revolving public services and counter terrorism. I achieved a first-class degree in public services and a merit in my MSc counter terrorism postgraduate degree. Knowledge from these degrees allows me the ability to work directly with the public and to serve my community, which is the greatest passion of mine. They taught me the importance of safeguarding, community relations and identifying the root cause of challenging situations. I have a background in leadership and team working that comes from my time as a cadet leader and a police officer. I led small teams through a variety of situations, from minor to extremely challenging.
I have a passion for mental health, and this began when I completed my undergraduate degree dissertation titled “adolescent mental health services: the needs; weaknesses and barriers.” This identified the struggles that our adolescents suffer when reaching out for help.
