Volleyball Captain
In 2021 I setup a volleyball team at my secondary school:
- This included coordinating with teachers for the purchase of supplies and equipment
- leading fun and inclusive sessions every Thursday which helped attendees to learn volleyball basics and put it to use in a match at the end.
In 2023 I took over the volleyball club at my sixth form:
- Ran sessions for over 30 people, having to kick people out when not complying to rules or coming uninvited.
- Found my team a game with Chichester University (which we won!), and entered us into a county-league tournament.

- My love for volleyball comes from out-thinking my opponents and elevating my teamates.
- As team captain and team member, I feel responsible to push myself to my limits, and I expect my teammates to do the same.
- As a team, we trust each other to play strategically using our strengths and allowing us to fail and grow.
