Additional Information

  • during this time. I have experience of delivering change programs, namely ARP, JLC, FTSU, implementing MIDOS and delivering services through Covid and indeed assisting the Trust with our CQC recovery program. Our HWBET and EDI awareness has increased as an organisation as well as the promoting of our sexual safety campaign. As a staff governor and clinician, it has been a pleasure to be involved with these programs. As a TL, I regularly set objectives in terms of task time, meeting trust KPIs and individual PDRs. From time to time this has necessitated in performance management where indicated. but, on the whole a well-led team needs little in the way of performance management if all team members are aware of their individual responsibilities.
  • Page 8 of 9 My leadership style as mentioned can and does change depending on the task, situation and individuals involved, democratic and supportive styles are very much traits that I practice. I value diversity and promote inclusivity wherever possible; I am not afraid to call out prejudices and actively seek the views and opinions of all members of staff through my work as a staff governor sitting on the engagement committee and regularly talk to our service users and foundation trust members at public events, listening events and through public board meetings. As a staff governor and clinician, it is essential to adhere to the principles of public life as well as the principles of health and social care to ensure that our staff are well lead, safe, caring, responsive, effective, and well-led. This will in turn ensure that our patients receive the right care, by the right person, in the right place at the right time. Page 9 of 9
