My passion for Business comes from the ideology on how widespread, diverse and competitive markets can be, from the idea of completing a huge sale to managing and working with a team to success. This is why I admire people in business and business owners and why I would be honoured to develop my skills with this opportunity. Throughout studying I've always enjoyed and excelled in the Business aspects of school. As unable to study it at high school I was instantly eager to study it at college. Instantly I was hooked onto it, so much so doing on self taught sales courses online. I think everything from the business lifestyle to the satisfaction accompanied with a managerial or sales type task is everything I would want for a future and with that I am eager to broaden my knowledge with marketing, sales and much more. I love a challenge and love to put one hundred percent effort into everything I do and I know a future in business, with my passion for the subject accompanied with my competitive nature, will be perfect for a future at this role.
I have often participated with charity events near where I live, Stable Lives. With this I spent a summer building an activity shelter for mentally struggled children to war veterans alike, in doing so I gained many valued teamwork and leadership skills as we all had to work together. With the same charity we have also competed in runs like the Tough Mudder 10k where we raised money for the charity and even had T.V celeb Ben Shepperd running with us. Both of these gave me great satisfaction for not only raising money, but for doing it as a team and enhancing some core teamwork skills. On top of this I work 2 separate jobs, one in a café and one in a pub, although a very common job for a student I realise both of these thoroughly enhance my communication skills through managing tasks with fellow employees and promptly dealing with customer needs as quick, and as correctly as I can. Both of these jobs also increase the ability to work under pressure, with often a lot of detrimental tasks often surrounding customer satisfaction needing to be completed as soon as possible. On top of this, these jobs give me a small yet good sense of money and savings which has helped with purchasing decisions on cars, for example, and savings to go to future needs. With all of this I have and continue to compete in the sport of Boxing for the past 5 years and competed many times now. This sport has changed my life and has consistently given myself something to work extremely hard for, its made me put hours and hours a week of effort into it, forced me to get up when I'm down but also taught me to be coachable/listenable and how to keep going no matter what when things get hard. Ultimately, I believe that all of these have aided me with skills that can be acclimated in competitive and teamworking environments in which I do believe I can excel in.
