- Within this role I would organise and run shifts in a busy bar that consists of 26 different lines of beer ranging between cask and keg lines. This took lots of time and planning and is something I have been trusted with due to my skills with cellar management and problem solving abilities
- I am experienced with lots of different types of beer and craft ales due to my role here and the ever changing lines that we have on, therefore I must be up to date with all knowledge about said beers ranging from taste to style to the breweries they come from and notes about them all. This is knowledge I have learnt on my own through self motivation and drive to provide the best service possible and surround myself with as much knowledge as I can to do my job to the most effective level
- I also have experience running and shift, cashing up, doing the banking and generally supervising a team of bar staff. This is a skill I have been working on for multiple years now and I feel it is to a point where I have good decision making skills and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively without the need to ask others.
