- Provide podiatry care in a private setting which include:
- General routine care
- Neuro-vascular assessment
- Biomechanical assessments
- Various fungal nail treatments
- Various verruca treatments
- Nail surgery
- Carry out new patient assessments, formulating treatment plans, maximising one-off or short term episodes of care to improve and resolve foot pathologies prior to planned discharge.
- Carried wound assessments and provide wound care management.
- Carried out biomechanical assessments, develop treatment plans and provide interventions
- Sought advice from and referring to colleagues with senior roles for where appropriate.
- Carried out minor surgery to resolve problematic nail conditions, assessing, referring and providing nail surgery procedures, follow up care and advice
· Providing treatment predominately in a clinic-based setting
· Treatments include routine podiatry care, wound care, diabetic footcare new patient assessments and nail surgery.
· Telephone reviews/ data cleanse
· Familiar with system-One and RIO and Care-note clinical computer system
· Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
