Domestic Abuse Navigator working at the intersection of Deaf access, safety, and justice. I support Deaf individuals experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence to access life-saving information, understand their rights, and navigate services that are often not designed with them in mind.
My role is about breaking down barriers, challenging inaccessible systems, and making sure Deaf voices are heard, understood, and prioritised. I work directly with individuals, while also influencing professionals and services to improve how they communicate, respond, and include Deaf people.
I deliver BSL-accessible workshops, build partnerships across statutory and voluntary services, and contribute to strengthening responses to domestic abuse within Deaf communities across the South East.
Driven by equity, inclusion, and ensuring no one is left without access to support when they need it most.
Facilitate and oversee projects on career development and wellbeing for deaf communities.
Deliver PSR and energy related enquiries with carbon monoxide safety workshops for deaf adults.
Lead money management and independent living sessions to improve daily independence.
Manage teams coordinating delivery and stakeholder input for accessible services.
