● Picking- Understanding outputs from a system to ensure correct items are placed in the correct location.
● Checking- Liaising with management to ensure schedules are met and stock is readily available, and paying close attention to detail to ensure all the correct stock has arrived and been booked onto the warehouse system correctly.
● Grid Controlling- Instruct colleagues on correct procedure from both an operational and health and safety point of view; Having an in-depth knowledge of the warehouse stock control system to ensure a consistent flow of available goods; Maintaining high standards of hygiene and holding others accountable when this is not followed.
● Goods in Admin- - Liaising with drivers to ensure safe and efficient delivery of products into the warehouse; In-depth knowledge of the booking-in system; Communicating with management about any concerns or issues in a timely manner to avoid congestion.
● Management training (part of Leadership school)- Having a strong understanding of all KPIs and what influences them to be able to make informed decisions that will benefit the operation; Providing support for colleagues struggling with internal factors and external influences; Communicating, on a regular basis, with senior management to ensure targets are being met and discuss and problem resolution; Presenting figures to senior management and communicating detailed information effectively, to inform on current status and predicted results daily.
