Thomas Jackson

I am starting a 4-year MEng course in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering at the University of Southampton and am looking for a part-time job to work alongside this. I would bring strong customer service skills, a high work ethic and I am open to learning and being trained in new roles. I learned skills in teamwork and time management while working at Oxygen Trampoline Park over the summer. I am fully available for weekend shifts and weekday shifts working around my university lectures.

• Gym, I maintain a consistent diet and lift weights 4-5 times a week. I enjoy going to the gym as it allows me to build on something week by week and improve myself.
• Astronomy, I enjoy learning about astrophysics, cosmology and stargazing. The pursuit of the unknown is what fascinates me most.

• Leadership: Led a small student-run support session for year 1 Mathematics students during my second year, helping them by delivering structured lessons and 1-1 support.
• Teamwork: Worked with co-workers to provide quality customer service during fast paced rush hours.
• IT: Gained hands-on experience during a formal IT placement, learning to assemble, disassemble, and configure PCs. Provided technical support to users, including replacing faulty laptop screens and keyboards.
