As a Person, i'm not afraid to get stuck in. I am ambitious and positive. Being part of a team and celebrating success is a great feeling. Although it is in One's own gift to achieve, working towards a target is a big driver for me.
I love customer facing opportunities, I always love to help. My sales approach is Subtle yet, to the point. Even more so with the potential to upsell if there's an opportunity.
The ability to be faced and solve a problem is also a key driver.
My Current Job is with Allsorts. It Specialises in Vape products and I have held this Job since Jan 2017, I was given the Reigns to manage its Second Store in Pembroke in 2018, design and open the Store in my Vision. I made the decision to move this shop to Pembroke Dock in 2025 with the sole task of a 2 year long quest to cut costs where possible. Today, the shop thrives and has overperformed expectation.
Despite being the Manager, there's not a lot I do not do day to day.
I work 45 Hours a Week. Serving a loyal customer base, buying stock. Making key decisions on what to stock, believing in the products I choose to sell with full confidence.
Managing sales data, handing cash and doing basic book keeping. Setting (sometimes ambitious) forecasts and sales targets.
I started at Sainsburys as a Christmas Assistant and got taken on full time basis and was Eager to learn. To say I learned a lot about how retail works at Sainsbury's is an understatement. I Started at Christmas as a Warehouse Assistant, within 2 years I had worked and learned most departments. I leaned in on the people that taught me and gave me the opportunities and will always be thankful for that. by Year 3 I was taken on as part of the Region's refit team. Where a group of us, designed store layouts with planograms, and actioned the displays first hand, this was part of Sainsbury's 2020 expansion. As a team, we were on the road for around 250 days a year. When the team Disbanded due to budget cuts, I went back in store as a CDA, where I maintained displays throughout the store. A similar role to the Refit role, but on a smaller scale.
