I work in a busy retail environment where I focus on delivering high-quality customer service and creating a positive shopping experience. I assist customers with purchases, provide product recommendations, and confidently handle transactions at the till. I also maintain high visual standards on the shop floor and support the team in meeting store targets. This role has strengthened my communication skills, confidence when interacting with customers, and ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

I was responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the store, including assisting customers with sizing and product selection, particularly for school uniforms and sportswear. This needed strong communication skills for all ages and types of people. I maintained stock organisation and ensured the shop floor was well-presented at all times. This role required strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, helping me build strong organisational and time management skills.

I worked as part of a team to support the delivery of events such as weddings and private functions. My role included setting up venues, assisting with food service, and working behind the bar serving drinks and interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner. I worked under pressure in busy environments to ensure events ran smoothly. This role developed my teamwork, adaptability, and ability to provide excellent service in a hospitality setting.
