  • Provided palliative care to a service user who has terminal cancer and emotionally supported their parents throughout.
  • Supported service user to attend hospital in order to receive treatment.
  • Completed online training to enhance my knowledge in areas including mental health and the safeguarding and protection of adults.
  • Adapted my communication skills to suit the needs of each individual. For example, as the service users I support have limited verbal communication due to learning difficulties, I have utilised other methods such as makaton.
