Samantha Jane Sanderson

Burnopfield,Newcastle Upon Tyne

Summary

Dedicated and compassionate professional with extensive experience supporting people in sensitive and challenging situations across healthcare, public sector and charitable organisations. Skilled in communication, active listening and building trust with individuals from all backgrounds. Experienced in handling confidential information, maintaining accurate records and working professionally under pressure. Background includes Social Prescribing within a busy GP practice, Volunteer Management with the Princes Trust (now Kings Trust) and Team Leadership within HMRC.

I’m fit and active, living in Burnopfield, recently partially retired and looking to use my skills and experience in a rewarding part-time role.

Alongside my professional background, caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. My family have owned a wide range of breeds including Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Spaniels and Terriers, and I regularly help family and friends with dog walking, house sitting and overnight care. I have some experience in walking multiple dogs together and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, understanding the importance of keeping them safe, happy, exercised and well cared for.

I take pride in being trustworthy, calm and dependable, and I would really enjoy building good relationships with both pets and owners. Joining Gizmo Gadgets K9 Dog Walking Services feels like the perfect opportunity to combine my love of dogs, active lifestyle and strong people skills in a role I would truly enjoy, given the opportunity.
