  • EPOS knowledge - In my current job I use an EPOS system which allows me to already have system knowledge as I use it all the time when taking customer orders I also know how to use the integrated card machine
  • Exemplary customer service - I always value the customers time and have a pleasant attitude towards them, while also being able to provide resourceful information If the customer needs assistance
  • Store merchandise stocking - At my current job, I am required to handle and move stock around, fill up and organise shelf’s, whilst also managing my time as i do so
  • Cash handling - I have knowledge on how to handle and count money effectively and in a proper manor Whilst also having experience filling the cash drawer with enough change to accommodate customers for the day
  • Order taking - I have to talk and interact with customers on a daily basis So when taking orders I am polite and welcoming to the customer, and am able to do so efficiently and effectively so other people queuing are not waiting for long
  • Excel proficiency - As a request from my boss, I made an excel spreadsheet which contained all the staffs names and hours which i was then able to use to make a cost calculator which helped increase profits via analysing what areas have too much or too little staff
  • Management - For a short while I had to manage all the staff and stock This involved me making weekly schedules that worked for everyone, making an inventory list at the end of the week ready for the following week, and also taking on board any necessary improvements which would positively effect the work flow
