Summary

I am a motivated and enthusiastic EYFS teacher with a secure knowledge of child development and the EYFS curriculum. I have the ability to build strong relationships with young children in an Early Years setting, building on their strengths and nurturing areas for development. I am organised, creative and compassionate which can be demonstrated in my previous 15 years of teaching and my previous role as an EYFS Leader. I have good communication skills and can work collaboratively with parents and colleagues. I have worked predominantly in Early Years throughout my teaching career and while I have had a career break to bring up my three sons I now feel ready to take on new challenges and continue my career development as an EYFS teacher. During my career break I have renovated a large farm house after relocating from Buckinghamshire to East Sussex, set up and managed a successful holiday let business, not to mention hand reared three orphaned lambs which are now our pet sheep.
