Summary

I'm only 16 years of age but have 2 years of experience in a tough and challenging work force. During this time i was eager to learn new skills and observe those experienced people around me. I believe that one of the things that helped me excel within my position not just in work but in the world was my eagerness to learn. i feel without this i wouldn't be able to acquire as much knowledge as i do know and i feel like i can tackle whatever challenge faces me in the future

  • Oversaw daily operations of store, including inventory and supply restocking, cash-handling and assisting customers.
  • Helped train new employees with our customer service system and helped them become settled within the environment
  • Maintained store appearance, including shelving organisation and regular cleans with staff
  • Developed a customer base through my experience by creating connections with some of the regular customers
  • Addressed customer issues calmly and professionally, delivering quick, successful resolutions.
  • Assisted cooking staff when needing help ( for example by making pizzas or packaging the food )
  • Was under supervision by the manager with many years experience who helped me develop these skills through careful training

  • This was my placement for my work experience which I did for a week
  • I oversaw operations along the jubilee line where I was placed under the supervision of each staff member
  • Here one of the main things stood out was the chemistry between the team, for the week i was there it really felt they were apart of a family then a work force
  • A quick summary of what I did - Oversaw the LIS, Signalling and controller operations, was given an introduction on how the system works and what it is based on , was given 30 minutes on the cab simulator , did signalling in the simulator , went on the front of the train with the DRM to observer the corrugation between Saint Johns Wood and Baker Street
