
I am friendly and interested in engaging with people in order to make sure they are given the best help available. I am currently working evenings in a local pub as a barmaid, where I have enhanced my people skills having to serve large numbers of customers during busy periods. I love getting to know our regular customers and I overall love the whole bar staff experience. I am a quick learner and I'm enthusiastic to learn new skills and to become a valued member of your team.
I also hold a full valid driving license, this enables me to travel for work.
In my current job role as a barmaid I work evenings. While working in a pub I mainly work lone shifts where I have to stock the bar adequately ensuring smooth operations during busy hours, prepare drinks orders, handle payments, complete closing procedures and clean down the pub at the end of my shift this includes; cleaning toilets, wiping down tables/bar and machines, ensuring all glasses are washed and put away, cleaning glass wash machine, clean pumps, cleaning floors, emptying bins and locking up the pub.
Lone working has made me confident in multitasking and serving large numbers of customers within a good timely manner and for their satisfaction, ensuring drinks are made to their expectations. Working behind the bar I have taken the time to know our regular customers, knowing what they drink and how they like it made and also engaged in friendly conversation to enhance customer experience and to maintain high customer satisfaction. I have also worked along side of my colleagues on busy shifts ensuring an optimal work environment, this has helped me build on my team working skills as we have to work together to ensure everybody is being served in good time and making sure the bar is running smoothly during peak hours including changing kegs, keeping on top of used glasses and topping up the fridges.
In the position as a Support Worker I worked day shift and night shift supporting adults with learning difficulties. This role included supporting our clients with the following; administering medication according to schedule and taking part in medication counts weekly, maintaining a clean environment in the home in which everyone lives, assisting with all personal care according to each individual care plan, prepared meals that met special dietary needs of clients, keeping track of their money, assisting clients on days out and all other day to day activities. Throughout the duration of the shift I would fill in all required documentation tailored to each individual. Examples of the documentation include; Medication charts/Trackers, daily notes and food/drink diaries.

While working at Home Bargains I have worked at the checkouts on the tills, worked on the shop floor putting out stock, tidying shelves, took part with stock take and also had the responsibilities of doing the morning cleaning including, sweeping/cleaning store floors using a floor scrubber machine, cleaning fridges/shelves, cleaning staff toilets and staff room, hoovering at entrance of the store and ensuring that the carpark was tidy by picking up rubbish/emptying bins.
I have learned how to communicate with various people including elderly, disabled and teenagers on a one to one basis helping them find products, pack shopping bags and responding promptly to queries.
I assisted as a Nail Technician Assistant during my time at College in the Collage Salon. My responsibilities included greeting customers, answering telephone calls, booking in appointments and making sure our customers had the best experience possible. I would also prepare nails by soaking, filing and buffing them to ensure excellent results from treatments.
