I have been part of the Ancient + Brave community for the past 15 months, during which time I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. In my role as a Customer Support Assistant, I have strengthened my communication skills and developed a strong understanding of key systems, including Gorgias, Priority, and Shopify.
I have built an in-depth knowledge of the Ancient + Brave product range, which has enabled me to confidently guide customers and provide tailored product recommendations.
I have also contributed positively to my team, including stepping up during high-pressure periods, such as last August’s backlog, by working additional hours to help ensure we returned to normal service levels efficiently.
During my time at Ancient + Brave, I have also volunteered at company events, including Happy Place Festival and the Covent Garden event. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of these experiences, where I worked effectively within new teams, adapted quickly to different environments, and engaged directly with customers in a face-to-face setting.
I now feel ready to take the next step in developing my skills and believe I could bring real value to the Partnerships Team. I am eager to continue growing within the company, learning new skills, and contributing to its ongoing success.

I have previous experience in volunteering including working with children in Ghana. My duties were, providing care, support and education to help build a secure structure during their early learning years. I had the pleasure of working alongside local families and community leaders to organise group events, such as sharing out donations to the community and helping arrange a school event for Independence Day. I have enhanced my communication skills by having to plan lessons with teachers, and help the children with their learning despite there being a language barrier .This role has massively improved my confidence in day to day and working life, as I had to deal with lots of different challenges each day during the two months I was volunteering there.
