Fostering, Children with Disabilities, Youth Justice Service, Young Croydon ( Adolescent Safeguarding) and Calleydown Short Breaks unit sit within Specialist Services.

Head of Social work across the East and North of the County, overseeing 9 safeguarding teams and two business support services. I set up the contextual safeguarding service in Norfolk which worked with children and young people at risk of Serious Youth violence and criminal and sexual exploitation.

Managing a busy duty and assessment team in a coastal town. A lively fast paced team, managing high caseloads, working with children from initial assessment through to Adoption

Supporting the Team Manager in a bust duty and assessment team. Managing children from the front door through to Adoption. Supporting Social Workers with extremely high caseloads.

Managing a safeguarding team, working with children subject to child in need and child protection.

Managing a complex caseload which consist of children looked after, CIN and CP.

Completed my newly qualified year in a busy safeguarding team working with children subject to CIN, CP and LAC

Working in various local settings as a Youth worker, including local Youth provisions in schools and the community. Supporting in the East of Ipswich within local libraries and working outreach with adolescents in deprived areas to support and encourage young people to engage in positive activities.
