Summary

Experienced, compassionate professional with a robust background in health and wellness, responsible for various things such as safeguarding vulnerable adults, and infection control. Demonstrates exceptional organisation and planning skills, coupled with strategic vision and integrity having to care plan for patients with varying needs whilst upholding the company's reputation and working in line with evidence-based practice. Proven track record in nursing staff leadership, risk evaluation, and policy interpretation. I utilise leadership skills to teach student nurses by demonstrating correct practices and promoting a positive environment which helps them develop and assists in giving them the ability to thrive. I have an internal drive and am extremely passionate about making a positive difference to others. My current job involves making autonomous decisions and constant risk assessments to be able to provide high-quality, safe care to patients. I enter multiple different environments daily and must ensure the environment is safe for myself, colleagues, and patients. If not, I must provide guidance and take action to eliminate hazards and improve health and safety. I advise and guide patients daily to improve their health and thus improve their quality of life. I would love the opportunity to utilise my skills in a different environment. My current role involves implementing health promotion strategies and risk mitigation techniques. As a nurse, I am committed to governance knowledge, internal auditing understanding, and fostering creativity and innovation within healthcare settings. I work in line with proficiencies and standards set out by regulatory bodies. As a nurse I have experience with enhanced team collaboration and streamlined care processes, ensuring seamless operations and better health results. I have to work with multiple stakeholders such as patients, families and other professionals daily. Health and safety are of immense importance for both my patients and other members of staff. This requires assessing for occupational safety and health hazards. While I have learned a great deal as a nurse, I would like the opportunity to make a difference and utilise my skills elsewhere. I have experience working in a fast-paced high-pressure environment, which has provided me with the skills and the ability to grasp new concepts and acquire new skills at a fast pace. Any qualifications I may require for the job role I am willing and eager to work hard for. I am proficient with the use of technology, often using Microsoft Office. Professional development is something I have constantly worked hard for throughout my career and wish to continue; I enjoy a challenge and gaining new knowledge and skills.
