In this role as a placement student (Third year of University) I learnt a lot about manual and automated assembly lines and how to run them efficiently.

• Implementation of robot's and cobot's.
• Track extensions and implementing new work stations.
• 3D CAD design for new parts to the line and ergonomic tool holders.
• 2D CAD floor plans to ensure new robots and line extensions fit in the space.
• Ran weekly manufacturing change request meetings.
• In control of the MCR trackers and PowerBI.
• Failsafe's for various machines and processes.

In this role I built and wired power distribution units, switch-gear and tap off boxes of different variations.

• Trained new employees to get them used to wiring and taught them how to read wiring schemes.
• Promoted to specialist panels produced for Network Rail.
• Assisted in running a small team that produced tap off boxes for Google.
• Supervised apprentices, answering questions and providing feedback on work.
• Read and interpreted blueprints, sketches and job specifications.
• Followed safe work practices, which included fall protection and personal protective equipment.
• Identified issues and worked out solutions to fix these with the aid of my team leader.

• Facilitated smooth construction process by ensuring thorough site preparation, including site clearing and surveying.
• Ensured team success by helping skilled labour, including carpenters and bricklayers, with daily tasks.
• Loaded and unloaded van with tools, equipment and materials
• Prepared surfaces for painting using hand scrapers and helped others paint.
• Cleaned up sites after shifts, organising tools and securing supplies in designated storage units.
