Work History

Registered Manager

Portsmouth City Council
Portsmouth, Hampshire
05.2015 - Current
  • I began working for Portsmouth City Council in 2015. I was employed to set up a new Rehabilitation Unit within the city. The rehabilitation unit was set up as a joint enterprise with both Portsmouth and the NHS. I was responsible for a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, managers, and carers. The unit supported the hospital to discharge people in a timely manner to enable them to return home once they had completed a rehabilitation programme and/or received social support. The unit thrived and received significant recognition within the city. CQC inspections were always positive and we received GOOD in all domains. My job role involved.
  • Delivered high-quality, proactive, person-centred care, tailored to specific service user needs.
  • Managed comprehensive care plans for residents, adhering to regulatory standards and improving quality of life.
