Joseph Liggitt

During my time working as a team leader within Sunseeker I have developed my knowledge and leadership skills in managing small and large groups.

I have fostered a high-performing environment to drive productivity encourage all jobs to be completed to a high spec and to meet specific deadlines,

I also have the skills to help resolve conflicts effectively, promoting a positive environment within the workforce.

It is paramont to prioritise tasks according to urgency and importance and optimise workload allocation among team members. I am a very hands on team leader and hing worked for Sunseeker for over 6 years prior to my promotion I have a vast experience in all aspects of laminating including wet lay and core materials.

I lead project coordination, resulting in timely delivery and continuous communication maintaining a high level of work is produced at all times.

Within my time within the role I have also managed multiple different stages of production including, hull, deck, flybridges and other small mouldings. Meaning it has been very important that I possess the skills to coach team members through new or difficult workflows.

Part of the role is also having the ability to delegate tasks to make best use of individuals' skills and being an encouraging team leader who is happy to help and encourage others professional development as well.

I have experience in maintaining all health and safety regulations and expections for myself and also other members of staff and ensuring these are adhered to by all.

Alongside my experience within production and leadership I also have training using an overhead gantry crane to remove moulds once completed and feel confident in the creating a safe and officient environment to complete this task.

During my time working with Nick Spicer we provided R.I.B and fibre glass boat repairs and carried out day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently.

Quickly learned and applied new skills to daily tasks, improving efficiency and productivity.

Successfully delivered on tasks within tight deadlines.

Demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.
