  • Drove operational improvements which resulted in improved service efficiency and adherence to national service specification, this resulted in a good report from A Better Life for the service and monthly provides good feedback for the team in local surveys.
  • Worked autonomously to develop action plans and to deliver an improved service such as recent Blood Borne Virus system of testing recalled patients
  • Provided support and training on a variety of different Psychosocial Techniques for new members of staff and supported existing members of staff to develop their skills
  • Delivered Trauma Informed groups and researched the topic to fully deliver the material, this is a passion of mine and has resulted in me using techniques and learning form this on a daily basis.
  • Prepared variety of different written communications, reports and documents such as mouthy updates to Prison Drug Strategy group
  • Used current data and knowledge of NDTMS to train the team in accurate data collection and to improve the metrics for current Prison Data Performance
  • Worked closely with community partners to ensure recording of data is accurate for both teams.
  • Part of the current working group to develop an agreed Continuity of Care form to allow community and prison services to have access to the correct information in a timely manner to ensure seamless transitions between both services
  • Currently supervise and manage a team of 9 staff of varying backgrounds such as Nurse, Recovery Worker or healthcare Support Worker
  • Collaborated with team members to achieve target results across all of healthcare, promoting an integrated way to work, such as covering medication administration and ensuring whole team approach to blood borne Virus testing, ensuring that patient care is delivered to a high level.
  • Been invloed with reporting and supporting staff to report Safeguarding issues. I currently am part of the Prison Safety Interventions Meeting to ensure patients wellbeing.
