Jennie Rowe

I have been qualified for just over a year and I'm due to finish my 18 month rotational programme in august with Derbyshire Community Health Services. I've throughly enjoyed the rotation, I thought it was a great opportunity to gain a variety of skills and gain an insight into different areas. I always enjoy meeting new people which has greatly helped with moving around during the rotation. I do believe I have a very caring nature and I am able to implement these qualities well when delivering all aspects of nursing care. I always go the extra mile to ensure my patients receive the best possible care I can provide. I'm highly empathetic, which can support patients in their difficult time of need and my good sense of humour can lighten their mood at times when this is appropriate. I have good communication skills and am able to build trusted friendships with others and communicate well with patients who need to be supported. I am a good team player and interact well with a diverse range of individuals at work. I value the importance of patient preference and shared decision-making in situations where this is possible and implementing compassionate care. I am very committed to the nursing profession and willing to undertake further training for additional skills and prepared to learn and expand my knowledge.
