  • Responsible for ensuring the waste from Biffa wagons as well as 3rd parties are tipped in the correct bays followed by material handling. This is done by manual handling, or plant machinery i.e. 360 material handler or loading shovel.
  • Adhering to all safety regulations during task execution daily as well as ensuring Biffa employees and customers are adhering to site rules.
  • Assisting the weighbridge operator and daily duties. Sole responsibility of ensuring the weighing processes of different types of vehicles entering and leaving site. Ensuring all transactions are correct as well as checking paperwork which is met to waste regulations standards.
  • Ensuring the site is clean and safe at all times which is maintained at a very high standard.
  • When the site foreman is not on site, I fulfill his role liaising with the site manager and being responsible for coordinating with haulage contractors as well as day to day operations throughout the whole site ensuring tasks are prioritised leading to an improved and effective workflow

  • Overseeing non hazardous and hazardous consignment notes. As well passing my knowledge and education onto fellow work colleagues across different departments

Affiliations

A strong passion for physical fitness which I believe plays a huge part on mental health.
