  • Used Iron Men to move Rail and perform tasks related to various jobs.
  • Helped put together Stressing Kit, to stress Rail before welding to remove faults.
  • Utilised hand and power tools, including bance gun and Drills to adjust and perform maintenance on track to specifications.
  • prepped site, put in keys and Nylons removed pads and replaced them with new ones, put in and lifted rollers, used hammer and banks gun, carried out tasks in timely fashion, made sure there where minimal over runs.
  • Maintained, renewed and repaired miles of track, extending useful life.
  • Drilled holes through rails, tie plates or fishplates for insertion of bolts or spikes.
  • Inspected tracks for defects and closed off damaged sections for repair.
  • Dug trenches and backfilled ground for Sleeper installation.
  • Manually loaded, unloaded and manoeuvred bulky goods, safely lifting and transporting heavy loads.
  • Operated jacks and rebels also utilised shovels & lifted Track to remove L2 faults, Cyclic Tops,TL & TR faults, TW3M's and AL35's to reduce or remove Dips and humps developing, reducing rough rides and brought track dimensions back to appropriate levels which minimised derailment risks.
