My passion for golf led me to apply for a position at Burford golf club, an organisation I have been a member of and represented for many years. My 5 years of dedication to the club has allowed me to build and grow within my job role, expanding my skills in a number of different professional areas.

As part of my role at Burford Golf Club I assist in the daily operations of the club's hospitality services, ensuring smooth service during high-volume events while managing time effectively and resolving issues that may arise. I am able to build a rapport with diverse customers as well as the club members i see regulary. It has enhanced my social skills and have fostered a welcome environment that contributes to overall member satisfaction.

Accomplishments

Travelling

  • At the start of 2026, I took a brief amount of time away from my employment at Burford golf club to go on a self funded trip around the world. I backpacked countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Fiji and Australia I also traveled across New Zealand, living in a van for 4 weeks. The trip was a once in a lifetime experience and taught me many important life skills such as navigating myself through unfamiliar environments, finding solutions quickly when plans change as well as gaining an enriched understanding of a number of different cultures.
