I am currently an A-Level student studying Law, Business and Criminology at Beauchamps High School. I am passionate about a career in law. Studying these subjects has fuelled my enthusiasm for the legal profession and helped shape my future career path. I am particularly interested in Family Law, recognising the lifelong impact legal decisions on family matters can have upon the life chances of vulnerable individuals. I recognise that Family Law has particular emotive challenges. However, the opportunity to help those in time of greatest need is something I believe to be of the upmost importance. Although Family Law is not a part of the A Level Law specification, as part of my Criminology course I have evaluated the law regarding domestic violence, examining reasons for low rates of reporting and convictions. I believe that working in law is both a fantastic opportunity and a privilege. Very few industries can have such a profound impact upon the lives of individuals, and the wider community. To be put in such a position of trust is a profound responsibility that cannot be taken lightly. In my spare time, I tend to observe court cases and tribunals that are available to the public in order to further my legal knowledge.
In July 2017, I had the privilege to be apart of the Justin Bieber Purpose World Tour. This opportunity was granted due to the pure dedication and commitment I put in towards my dancing. Although my studies have taken priority over recent years, dancing to such a high level taught me discipline, determination and the need to be focused.
