
Primary PGCE trainee with experience teaching across a range of primary age groups and educational settings. Passionate about creating inclusive, supportive and engaging learning environments where all children feel valued and able to thrive. Skilled in planning creative and engaging lessons that promote curiosity, participation and meaningful learning, with a particular interest in cross-curricular approaches that help pupils make connections across different subjects. Based in a Year 3 class, plan and deliver lessons across the curriculum. Work with small groups of EAL pupils to support their understanding in subjects including maths, reading, literacy, SPaG and foundation subjects such as science.
Observed teaching and learning across different year groups, supported pupils during lessons, and gained insight into International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum approaches and classroom practice.
Based in a Year 6 class, planned and delivered lessons across the curriculum. Gained additional experience in Key Stage 1 by working with Year 1 pupils and teaching phonics. Worked with small groups, including pupils with SEND. Led a writing group in Year 6 as part of a specialism project in children’s literature, supporting pupils’ engagement and development in reading and writing.
