Summary
I have had a wide range of volunteering roles coaching and referring at both my camogie club and Gaelic club, this lead me into teaching where I am currently about to begin my 3rd year of my primary teaching course at university. The nature of this profession requires me to have an enthusiastic and positive approach and a love for working with children. It also has instilled resilience and organisation skills as-well as flexibility due to the nature of the classroom. Last summer I worked as a sports coach and was 1-1 at times this gave me valuable experience in working with children of all ages and taught me how to adapt activities to be inclusive yet keeping the core idea the same.

- I worked in a classroom environment, leading classes daily across a variety of subjects. Whilst this role was physically and mentally challenging I appreciated every moment of it. It helped develop my skill set, for example, time management, adaptability and organisational skills.
