Whilst studying for my A-Levels because of my ability and interest in swimming I qualified as a National lifeguard which allowed me to work as a lifeguard at Basildon sporting village. When a new splash park/ leisure centre opened in Brentwood my manager asked me to join with him working there. This gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge on how leisure centres are operated. Allowed me to continue in the life guarding role whilst also diversifying into working front of house allowing me to develop my customer service skills. Also working within a food and beverage role which included being a barista and working in licensed premises. It was always my intention to travel once I completed my education and earlier this year I self funded a 3 month trip to south east Asia, followed up by a 3 month self funded trip to Australia returning to the UK on the 8th December 2025
