Through years of dedication, I recently became a semi-professional footballer. Throughout, I have displayed a strong combination of teamwork, discipline, and communication skills whilst working with a variety of players and coaches. I have gained invaluable skills and knowledge with regards to both on the field and off the field work. Partnering this alongside my work in retail with Tesco, the ability to further my team-working and communicational skills has progressed me as a person. My willingness to always better myself has been something I have strived for, which is exerted through my dedication for football since a very young age. My passion for law has grown through my studies, which I am excited to graduate from. Through such, I have gained vital problem-solving and organisational skills, which have enhanced my experience at university.
I have recently made the step up to play Highland League Football for a club with successful history and an incredible fan base. Through years of dedication and hard work, the possibility to make the step-up became available.
Through my years of playing football, I have gained valuable team-working and communicational skills to allow me to compete to the best of my ability. I have dedicated hours on a daily basis to improve myself as a player and a person. I have collaborated with coaches and teammates on a daily basis at both training sessions and games, whilst applying any advice given to improve my game.
I took up a committee role with the university's football team in which I was the secretary for their BUCS games. This entailed organising the transportation of all the players to and from the football games, whilst also organising referees for home games.
