I am fascinated and want to develop my knowledge and skillset within business management further which is why I look forward to applying my learning and skills to develop better theoretical business knowledge and more practical managerial skills by partaking in a work placement in industry to enhance my study.
I am a self-motivated, organised and meticulous student who thrives in both group projects and independent environments. As part of my Btec, I along with other peers in my class had to plan and host an Eid celebration event in which we were responsible for everything with no outside help from teachers or any non-student personal. This meant we were responsible for the venue, catering, tickets and advertisement and the health and safety aspects of the event.
There was roughly 13 of us which collaborated on this project. We split up into multiple different subgroups which all focused on different aspects to help spread the workload across multiple people and on the day the event ran smoothly with no hiccups and lots of money raised for charitable donations
