  • My Career started in 1990 when myself and my then girlfriend opened a Ladies and Children's Clothing Store. I followed this by then going to work for her fathers company Pricewise/Chicago Ltd. I made a career change in Sept 1992 to gain further management experience with the NPO Group of stationery and book stores. I returned to work for Pricewise Chicago and took up the role as Area Manager of 6 retail stores in July 93.
  • For 33 years my wife and I have continued to run a very successful clothing store which is one of county Downs largest school wear suppliers providing school uniforms for 35 schools. This has been through hard work, determination and strong business acumen.

For me however my true passion lay in cars and I chased my dream to work in car sales. In 1995 I was successful in my application with Isaac Agnew Volkswagen as a Trainee Sales Executive and within 4 months of starting I was put on target and given the role of Sales Executive.


This truly was a dream come true and I pushed myself to then forge my own career path within the Agnew Group. I moved into Audi as a Sales Executive in July 1997 and in 2001 this led to me to being nominated to partake in the Audi Advocacy Programme. Commitment, passion and determination in this led me to the role of Audi Luxury Car Specialist. I was extremely successful at this role and continued to push my career development in Audi. In 2006 I was appointed as Corporate Sales Manager for Audi and this opened up new opportunities and relationships in the fleet sector.


A role as Retail, Saab Sales Manager became available up in 2007 and I was again successful in my application. This offered me brand new challenges and within 2 years I was appointed as General Sales Manager of both the Saab and Porsche businesses. The car manufacturer Saab sadly ceased trading in late 2011.


I continued to forge my career solely in the world of Porsche. This has been an exciting time and having a direct input into the design, build and implementation of our new Porsche Centre in 2017 really made me feel so rewarded and proud of the brand, our people and our fabulous new facility.


I have gained great experience in Porsche and built up a very strong and loyal personal customer base through direct selling and involvement with my sales teams customers. I have gained excellent relationships and friends within Porsche GB and the dealer network. Hard work, commitment, dedication and loyalty have led me to being awarded a number of accolades and achievements in my time with Porsche, from Top 100 Sales Managers Worldwide in "Business Excellence" and "Used Car Excellence" accolades. These are of course only achieved by the commitment and hard work of the sales team and other dedicated teams within our Centre. These accolades are shared by all.


In 2019 I undertook a 2 year Porsche Leadership and Management programme. This required focus, dedication and commitment in my own personal time but it was worth every minute. It was immensely rewarding and gave me new skills to assist in developing myself, my teams and the business. In April 2021 I graduated with a Distinction as a Certified Porsche Manager and Leader. This was a very proud time for myself, my family and Porsche Centre Belfast.


Anything I put my mind to is with a true passion and dedication and I wish to continue to excel in my career and be a key driver and contributor to the success of Porsche Centre Belfast. I am ready to become the new "Face of the Porsche Brand" in Northern Ireland.
