My name is Chloe-Ella Wymer, I am 18 years old from Ely. I currently go to a Dance and Performing Arts college in St Neots Cambridgeshire where I live in a student accommodation with three other students during the weekdays, and come home for the weekends and holidays. This gives me so much independence of adulthood, moving out at a young age and driving, I have discovered a lot of life lessons and I want to continue the independence I have finding a part time job. I would love to be considered for this job vacancy. I am a bubbly confident and reliable hard worker looking for a part-time weekend job. I put 100% in to everything with full efficiency and good time management striving to get any task I am responsible for completed by the time needed. I love to communicate with the public, interacting with a wide range of individuals with the goal to meet all of their possible needs. I am a hard worker independently using my own initiative being able to have responsibilities for myself as well as working well with others in teams having good communication. A good example of this is reaching for an end goal and completing it with independence and team work, when i took part in the Dorset Walk for charity of the Malcolm whales foundation. This is a 44 mile walk over the coast of Dorset where we walk for three days and camped in 2021. This was a once in a life time experience that I will cherish the rest of my life how my actions can impact someone else's life. The most rewarding thing from this experience was talking to and interacting with the locals as we walked past them. The majority would stop us and ask questions and want to know more into what we was doing. To interact with others around the community was rewarding. Another thing I enjoyed was being able to push through and achieve highly as a group. We all motivated one another to do well and to not give up. There was also an independence in this also to keep a positive mentality and enjoy the experience given to us to make someone's life better.
My experience at Peacocks was a short period of time during the summer holidays in 2023. In wanting to make some money independently whist I attended Year 12 at Bishop Laney Sixth Form in Ely, Peacocks gave me the opportunity to gain some experience, being my first job. being welcomed to the world of work. As my career path changed, I unfortunately had to leave this summer job before I moved away to live in student accommodation during the week days I now attend Dance College in Huntingdonshire. I was unable to maintain this sales assistant job due to unreliability of hours and shifts being unable to attend during week days. From my time at Peacocks, I was able to be introduced to a range of different skills:
I had been given the opportunity to take part in Work Experience twice, the first time being 2018 as I attended Ely College and then again in 2023 as I attended Bishop Laney Sixth Form, Ely. I chose to do both of my work experiences with Spring Meadow Infant and Nursery School Ely. This was the infant and nursery school I attended as a little girl. I love working in a classroom environment as I worked with Reception children ages 4 to 5. I loved interacting working and supporting alongside the children and the teacher throughout the working day. These are a few responsibilities and skills I held during my time there:
