Whilst decided to go to university, I decided to find a job to do alongside my studies, Here I took on the role of bar staff at The Lord High constable (weather-spoons). Here I got to put my skills and experience in hospitality into use with a more focused role of bartending. My role and responsibilities were:

• Taking order of food and drink at bar and placing into onto the Epps system
• Understanding and remembering every element of items on the menu to clearly explain to consumers if needed
• Handling payments both of cash and PDQ machines
• Preparing all types of drinks e.g on tap, spirits and bottles
• Preparing drinks ordered on the app, then delivering once made
• Delivering food once prepared, then checking customer satisfaction to make sure everything is up to standard, Then dealing with queries and demands if need be
• Cleaning, clearing and resetting tables for the next customers Completing hourly checks on toilets so they are up to standard
• Closing areas of the restaurant e.g Bar, floor, bottles and glass wash
• Making sure everything is ready for open staff and health and safety measures are up to standard.

after completing collage, I took on a job at sports challenge during the week. Here I went into different primary schools in the Worcestershire area and provide different sport sessions to different years. My roles and responsibilities were:

• Making sure all children's heath and safety is maintained during session
• Planning and developing sporting activities to do for different ages , standards and sports
• Bringing and setting up equipment
• Following rules made by the schools and the company to maintain professionalism Encourage and supporting kids
• completing CPD to develop my understanding and exert

i also took on a second job at new look as a sales representative. Here i gained knowledge of a retail side of hospitality and customer service. My roles and responsibility were:

• unwrapping, security tagging and hanging clothes on the right size and clothed hangers from delivery
• working on the tills, manually checking prices and sized and taking payments of both cash and PDQ machines
• answering phone calls to answer questions, customer queries and concerns
• processing online and at home deliveries over the phone and in person
• keeping the standards of the company on shop floor, changing rooms and stock room
• cleaning and washing shop floor and stock room

For the the first 8 months of 2021, I was part of a small and very friendly team at hanbao Here I used my knowledge learnt to growth my experience within the role of waitressing. My roles and responsibilities included:

• Greeting and collected clear information from costumers to seat them in correct booked tables
• Taking orders of food and drink then transferring into the epos system Understanding and remembering every element and item on the menus to clearly explain to customers if quires and delivered once prepared
• Checking customer satisfaction and dealing with any queries or demands that may be needed
• Preparing deserts such as ice cream Handling payments of both cash and PDQ machines, following up with inputting data into the epos system
• Clearing and resetting tables for next customers Setting up and closing the restaurant area for the close and open, making sure fully stocked and health and safety measured are in place and safe to continue

On the later stages of 2021, I grew my hospitality skills and knowledge further by working at the family run swan at Whittington. My roles and responsibilities included:

• Greeting members of the public who enter the pub and collecting clear information to seat them at the correct tables. Then using the epos system to log them in
• Taking phone bookings
• Taking orders of both drinks and food and then transferring to epos system
• Making drinks behind the bar , when done delivering to correct tables
• Delivering food from kitchen to table whilst clear explanation of the dish is
• Checking customer satisfaction and tending to any queries or demands that are needed
• Clearing and cleaning tables and overall pub to keep high standards of hygiene. Then relaying tables.
• Handling payments of both cash and PDQ machines , following with inputting data into epos system
• Dealing with large functions by myself.

I have gained a wide range of knowledge from being able to go onto a waitressing position within a very popular and award-winning Cornish restaurant. My roles and responsibilities included:

• Warmly greeted guests upon arrival to create welcoming atmosphere.
• Taking orders and inputting into an in-house epos system
• Understanding every element of a meal or item within the menu to clearly explain to costumers
• Handling payments of both cash and PDQ machines and applying different discounts if need be
• Maintaining all health and safety guidelines given within any area of the restaurant i may be in
• Caring to customers worries and demands
