Working as a Shift Manager in One Stop I was the second in command to the manager. It was my personal responsibility to make sure not only the team, but the entire store ran smoothly.

Many of my daily duties included:

• Cash handling & store banking.
• Communicating with partners & supplying companies such as Bookers, GreenCore, Costa, and DC.
• Managing and coordinating team members.
• Resolving technical & mechanical issues within the store.
• Keeping the store clean, tidy, and green on the analytic reports.

I gained my title through two separate promotions, joining One Stop as a Customer Service Assistant, and working my way through positions with hard work and uninterrupted dedication to my work.

Within Bubbleology I was at the forefront of the store, and a keystone to the inner workings of the store.

I was in charge of not only managing our current team, but hiring staff, and ensuring all colleagues were fully trained with the highest standards from head office.

Day to day, my main duties were as follows:

• Stock management involving counting current stock, creating new orders, and tracking deliveries from our suppliers.
• Creating & maintaining staff rotas, making sure to meet the needs of everyone while simultaneously keeping within labour budgets.
• Making sure the store products are up to the standard set by the product & marketing team in head office.

I believe my time at Bubbleology to be a priceless asset as I was taught managerial skills and techniques which propelled me in later employment.

Working as a Bartender & Waiter at the Holiday Inn was my first real job and taught me an incredible amount of skills to be successful in the customer service & hospitality industry.

I had a wide variety of duties at the Holiday Inn; I worked not only in the restaurant but also helped out in the kitchen and supported the rest of the hotel in multiple departments.

It was an all-around job; I was always doing a lot, and I can confidently say I enjoyed my time there.
