During my final years in school and after leaving I worked in retail, office and agricultural environments - gaining many life skills and meeting fantastic people along the way but knowing deep down this was not the future for me. My real passion lied with natural history, the life on Earth that surrounds us today, the prehistoric organisms that once inhabited our planet and perhaps the most important aspect of this field - conservation. I set myself a goal to both study and build a career around this passion for life on Earth, using it to both carry out active conservation and educate the general public about the importance of biodiverstiy and preserving our delicate globe for generations to come. Studying Zoology at university and working as a guide at The Deep has been just the beginning of this lifelong goal but has given me valuable skills with regards to education, conservation and interpersonal skills in this field - I remain passionate and driven, aiming to continue this career journey.
