I had a happy and stable upbringing in Durham with my Mum, Dad and Sister. Before going to University I took a couple of years out to work and travel. I moved to Glasgow to study and have lived here ever since. I live in the West End with my partner of 20 years and two children aged 4 and 7. I worked for Who Cares? Scotland for 13 fantastic years, it was an incredibly fulfilling role which I gained a huge amount from both personally and professionally. I chose to leave this job to be able to spend more time with my children and pursue my career as a counsellor. I am not currently employed and focusing on my studies and family life.
