In July of 2025, I graduated from Metfilm with a BA in Content, Media and Film Production. I tried my hand at every role on set I could whilst there, and editing was the role that interested me the most. My second year film, "Inertia", won Best Student Short Film at the West London Film Festival 2024 and the Bedford Film Festival 2025. It was a psychological horror film and the first time I edited a fictional film. I learned how to use sound and pacing to tailor an edit for a specific genre. At one point, I had to layer over 30 audio files on top of eachother to create overwhelming whispers.
My graduation film "Blanks" premiered at Odeon Leicster Square and has been submitted to RTS Futures Festival. The film won Best Editing at my universities Graduation Film Awards. I learned to edit on Adobe Premiere Pro but since I've graduated I have edited two short films teaching myself to edit and colour grade on Davinci.
