I am a soon to be History graduate with strong research, analytical, and communication skills developed through my degree. I am due to graduate from university in May 2026, and I am currently on course to achieve a high 2.1 / 1st grade.
My studies required me to evaluate complex information, assess sources critically, and produce clear, well-structured written work under tight deadlines. Through my dissertation and coursework, I developed the ability to manage long-term projects independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
I am confident synthesising large volumes of information and presenting key points clearly in both written and verbal formats. Alongside my academic work, I have developed strong organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
I am now seeking an entry-level or graduate role where I can apply my analytical, organisational, and communication skills in a professional environment while continuing to develop my career.
During my time at university I also worked part time for a national plumbers merchants as a delivery driver in Norwich. Before starting my studies I spent 12 years working as a glazier in Nottingham, starting after I left in 2009 and working my way up to a management position before leaving in January 2020 when moved to Canada to gain my ski instructor qualification. Due to Covid-19, I returned to the UK in March 2020 and returned as a glazier for the same glazing company I left two months prior. I continued to work for the glazing company until November 2021 when I moved back to Canada to work as a Ski Instructor.
