I was an Army Cadet for 3 years, of which, I learned a plethora of useful skills, namely, first aid and the ability to effectively work in a team to solve challenges.

I have always been fascinated from shipping from a young age, I've been on the Queen Mary 2, which I've always viewed as a highlight of my life. In more recent history I've been doing extensive reading on various Ocean Lines and cruise ships of history, namely the Queen Mary, SS United States and the Olympic trio of Ocean liners.
