Hi! I’m Arran, a 19 year old from Yate - currently studying Criminology at the University of Bristol. I’m an outgoing and sociable person who enjoys meeting new people and building connections. Outside of work and study, I’m really passionate about football, sports, and hiking. I also have strong experience in retail and customer service, where I’ve developed great communication skills and a solid understanding of how to create positive customer experiences. I aspire to become a qualified lawyer in a few years, and I have always had this career goal since I was a child, and my love for reading, writing, comprehension, politics, economics has influenced this.
I worked at Waitrose where I helped keep the shelves stocked and looking tidy, participated in reducing items, picked up groceries for deliveries for online orders whilst making sure everything was easy for customers to find. I spent a lot of time helping people out on the shop floor, giving advice and making sure they had a good experience. I got on well with the rest of the team and we all worked together to keep the store running smoothly and the customers happy.
I worked at M&S where I spent a lot of time on the tills, keeping my area clean and organised so everything ran smoothly. I dealt with customer complaints in a calm and friendly way, always trying to sort things out quickly. I also chatted with customers about different products and sometimes helped boost sales by suggesting things they might like. The team was great too, and we all worked together to keep the store running well and customers happy.
I worked at Starbucks where I made sure every drink was made just right and served quickly. I got really comfortable using the espresso machines and worked closely with the kitchen team to keep things running smoothly. I kept the café area clean and tidy while making orders, and always tried to make sure customers left happy with their coffee and the service.
